Way to rebind Sprint and/or Roll keys?
As the title says, is there any way to rebind the sprint or roll keys so they're not on the same key? If it's possible to rebind jump as well that'd be awesome, too. Thanks.

Um I think theres a way to change jump from B to A on controller but I'm not sure about keyboard

No. If you're blocking you cannot jump, that's useful information if you know what to do with it.

Yes I know that holding shift (block) while sprinting allows you to roll without jumping, but that still feels extremely clunky for me and I'd vastly prefer to just have a dedicated roll key.

Tap the sprint key to roll. You have to be holding down the direction you want to go in to roll, otherwise you backstep.

Hold forward: roll forward, hold left: roll left, etc.

Don't you find shift to be, I dunno... a bit hard to reach? I use alt instead, better placement when you have to use it together with W A S D.

Left shift works pretty comfortably for me, I normally rest my WASD hand's pinky on Shift and thumb on Spacebar, so those are pretty common keybinds for me. Shift is normally my sprint key but since this game binds everything plus the kitchen sink to the same key I use spacebar for sprint/roll/dodge. Alt would be my usual roll key. :P

Hm, I use spacebar for menu/exiting the menu. ^^
Really, why do people think this is harder played with m&k? It's not... The only thing that I actually find to be hard (which I never do anyway), is moving while keeping a shield up.

I can't really make a comparison to using a controller as I've never used one. But that debate is not really relevant to the subject at hand. I'm just asking if it's possible to rebind sprint or roll to separate keys on the keyboard. Made an effort to find a way to do so, but if it's possible I don't know how.

yea it is, especially if you're starting out

Actually its damn easy with M&KB if you rebind keys and just look at the keys description. I blew past the dlc bosses the first time I got to them easily and also parried gwyn easily with all the maneuverability of the keyboard. I find some of the controller's buttons a little harder to reach at times.

8 not enough for you? Get a keyboard with a circle pad like me
