*Resolved* Abyss/Four Kings/Covenant of Artorias Gltich

Every time I enter the Abyss I die as if I've fallen even though I'm wearing the Covenant of Artorias, the four kings boss battle then starts after I'm dead, why?

you fall too soon. try to fall where you are at the last stairs step. maybe

Unequip the ring, jump down and die normally(you were consumed by the abyss or whatever the message says), then equip ring again and see if that works. :)

Already tried it from the bottom, still died, I'm wondering if you need a certain amount of HP to survive the fall or something

No, no matter from where you jump, this is the only fall where there is 0 fall damage no matter what. Unless if you are me and hit one of small platforms from stairs... well yeah, then there is fall damage...

That's the problem, every time I jump in it's the fall that kills me, not the Abyss

Yep, funnily enough when the ring is not equipped i die as soon as I start falling, but when it's equipped it's definitely fall damage that's killing me

Only thing i would say is maybe try a trainer? with unlimited health and see if it fixes the issue to at least let you drop down if you cant fix it any other way

Hmm I could try the Dragon Head Stone infinite soul glitch on a new character and see, this didn't happen in my first game though. Wondering if somehow the GFWL to Steamworks patch has messed something up, I've started using Dsfix since I last did this part of the game as well but I haven't seen anyone else reporting this glitch
