just go to http://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls/mods/21/? and download the zip file, then Open dsfix.ini and enableTextureOverride to 1
Copy the .dds files from inside the High-Res UI and Subtitle fonts zip you downloaded to Dark Souls folder\DATA\dsfix\tex_override

well i found what is the problem (i guess. It worked for me) this option in DSfix configuration "# Depth of Field resolution override, possible values:
# 0 = no change from default (DoF pyramid starts at 512x360)
# 540 = DoF pyramid starts at 960x540
# 810 = DoF pyramid starts at 1440x810
# 1080 = DoF pyramid starts at 1920x1080
# 2160 = DoF pyramid starts at 3840x2160
# higher values will decrease performance
# do NOT set this to the same value as your vertical rendering resolution!
dofOverrideResolution 540"
I had it as my same resolution to play (1920x1080), it consumes more resourses of your PC, u can see more in the depth of field but for some reason it makes the subtitles and loading screen texts VERY fuzzy, i just changed to default again (540) and it worked ( I see just a LITTLE BIT less in the depth of field but nothing u can notice if u do not stop to see details). If this worked for anyone else pls let me know :)

Yep I can already tell you'll have a great time playing DS.

redering, i read that and when the developer says "rendering" it means when you are recording not just playing... the video just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up...
