Any mod for low light areas?
I'm having an issue that in Blighttown and in any other area, you can only so far because the lighting range of your character is limited. Anyway to fix this with a mod?

I don't know if you can fix it with a mod,but you could go to the catacombs and kill necromancers until you get the skull lantern.Or just, you know, adjusting the brightness option of your monitor(although I doubt you haven't tried that yet).

If neither of these options are availible for you,you could search the mod in http://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls/mods/searchresults/? .

Urgh :P I can't go to the catacombs because I don't have a divine weapon and even adjusting the brightness of the game will not stop it from lighting COMPLETLEY dark areas of the game. Easy way to mistep, fall and rage... Thanks though.

While somewhat dark, Blighttown isn't an incredibly dark area, maybe your brightness is set too low.

Not really, it's just as I described it. Increasing might give me a bit more visibality but then I won't see anything near me because it'll be so bright.

That screenshot seems perfectly fine to me. You aren't supposed to be able to see everything as if it was a clear day. I will say however that if you don't have DSFix installed, installing it allows you to see better in Blighttown.

You don't need a divine weapon to get through the catacombs, It isn't hard to progress even without one. Just prioritize the Necromancers

Also i think the Astora Straight Sword has Divine built in, even though its pretty weak weapon all things considered

I found one near the dead dragon that nearly killed me! Time to go grave digging!

What exactly do I have to tweak in the .ini will allow me to help with the lighting in order to extend its range?

there is no such setting that will do that from dsfix.ini.

Like someone else said your screenshot is perfectly normal

Your monitor's brightness is probably way off. The screenshot looks fine because your monitor settings obviously don't affect other people looking at the image. You should have no trouble seeing in Blight Town what so ever.
