Snuggly the Crow is Seemingly Absent

[Herald of a Grey Dawn]

I've walked up to her nest on both the characters I have on different occasions, and on neither instance have I triggered a dialogue. Any help?

You mean to get back to the Asylum? I had to wait there for like 2 minutes, I thought something was wrong.

Only the first time though, afterwards it's triggered immediately.

I googled it to see if I was doing something wrong and on the wiki it says:

When at the nest of the giant crow, curl up into a ball and wait. The first time you curl up you may have to wait a little while to be picked up.

So I just waited some more time and it eventually worked.

No, I'm talking about the other crow, at the Undead Asylum, with a smaller nest on a ledge to the side, whom you can trade items with.

Oh of course, sorry.

On the wiki it says:

Snuggly (Warm and Fuzzy) is located in the Northern Undead Asylum and will trade items with you.
To trade, drop the item you are offering, then quit your game and reload. When you come back, your reward will be in the nest.

Note: You do not have to save and quit the game to trade items. Simply jumping off the edge to your death and then re-spawning at the bonfire will have the same effect.You can also use a Homeward Bone or equivalent. As long as your game has to go through a loading screen, Snuggly will have your exchanged item.

I guess it's just drop item and reload game thing, not sure if a dialog is necessary.

I did look up the wikis, thanks, but the dialogue prompting you to trade is triggered by you approaching the nest, and it isn't happening with me.

Hm, have you tried to trade, anyway?

Are you using DSFix? Maybe that causes a problem? Not sure :/

Hm now I'm not sure about the games file structure, but can't you just backup your save file to check out and restore it if it doesn't work?

It's a little too much hassle anyway, and I'm not really up to messing around with anything outside the game.

Well, if it's a simple structure it'd be as much hassle as CTRL+C, CTRL+V, delete, rename. :P
