<3 Blacksmith Giant Hammer

Level 10, 12 strength.
I just smashed NG+ Manus' hand with it. You know, the bigger, hairier, stickier one. 0_0

Blacksmith Giant hammer has like the same moveset as reinforced club, only does a bit more damage and has some scaling.
Manus' armor gets beefed up so umm when lightning reinforced club was doing like over 600 in NG, it was doing about 500 in NG+ with red tearstone. Giant hammer was about 587 in NG+.

Ya gotta kill the lovable giant blacksmith in anal londo though. ;_;
Soooo ya, don't go for it until you go for the final boss.

Just a lil helpful tip for anyone struggling with Manus on a really really low level run and can lift 16 strength weapons. If you can one-hand the reinforced club, you can two-hand this.

a sl1 could wield that, that's good to know. I stuck with a chaos battle axe, and divine club as backup for skeletons.

I could never get used to chaos weapons on low level runs. I'd run out of humanity and have to farm too much. I know there's umm an infinite humanity exploit but I don't like it...
Also why downgrade the occult club when you could ascend another reinforced club for more damage. I mean, what's another nine green shards right?
So I got a divine and a lightning reinforced club.
I have lots of red chunks. I've been leaving them on the ground in firelink because they travel to other players' games. Someone left me rubbish and i happened to be low on what you can trade those in for. Maybe I can do a chaos for when I farm stuff.

Wish I could post both my methods of getting tearstone range but I forgot NG. NG+ I blocked the bloathead caster's dark orb with the grass crest shield, and then rolled off the big ledge facing the boss room. Ya know, for anyone that wants to try that.

I've been leaving them on the ground in firelink because they travel to other players' games." it doesn't work like that: you drop an item, this item can go to another player's world as an item bag, and if the other player doesn't pick it up then it can become a vagrant; but what you drop isn't what the other player can find; probably the rubbish you found was, for example, a coin, and by pickin it up you prevented a vagrant from spawning; if you drop chunks, i don't even know if they transfer as worse items, or if they simply don't transfer at all

Happened to me twice. First time it was a prism stone and the second was rubbish. They turn into vagrants for someone else if you leave them alone, but they vanish when they see you like the crystal lizards instead of attacking. I've never managed to kill one.
The ones that attack you BTW are when you lose souls and around 10 humanity. I see those a LOT next to the bloathead caster in the chasm.

Edit: Oh, was writing when Sajittt posted. Ok, well rubbish is still good I guess. Thanks for clarifying though.

yes, exactly, prism stone and rubbish, not other items; http://darksouls.wikidot.com/vagrant check the table here for the list of what gets transformed into what; if i drop an obsidian greatsword +5, should it ever appear as a random item to another player, it would be something completely different, he wouldn't get the weapon.
i'm referring to what you wrote about the red chunks and rubbish, i see now you talk more about vagrants so i guess i got something wrong while reading and now stuff is drifting lal

Uhh well umm after reading that, sorry I stopped a good vagrant from spawning. Now I know what exactly to drop to cause drift bags for people though. Apparently all that hollow armor I drop doesn't. XD
