For GOD'S SAKE, how to kill the Hellkite Dragon in NG+?

I tried to cheese him with the dragonslayer bow under the bridge but his health regeneration is too strong and i cant interrupt it at all.

Concerning melee, i tried to trigger his landing and attacking his left feet 4 times and then running away to the stairs. But the second time i do this he justs one-hit kills me with that stupid and overpowered aerial fire breath.

I am lv 131

Str: 53
Vitality: 42
dex: 23

2nd method is fine, just practice more with where you have position yourself when aggroing him at that distance, if you can't check some videos on youtube about it and that should do the trick, that method is viable even at higher ng levels (not even the feet in case, just the tip of his head/face)

Equip the hawk ring and use a normal bow, not a great bow, so that you can get faster shots. Aggro the drake and run to Solaire's spot. The drake will follow you and breathe fire at you. If you're just down the stairs the drake will give up after 1 breath and turn around. This is when you pop up and get your 1-3 shots off depending on what part of turning around you got him at. Repeat until its dead.

You must go down the stairs because if you try hiding around the corner of the doorway the drake wont give up and you'll be almost stuck. Use power within or red tear stone ring to make it quicker.

You gotta cut the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tail off first, that'll stop its regen.

This is probably a glitch, but it's the best way for me and I can kill him like this even in ng+6. Basically just do the melee tactic you were talking about, but when he flies into air to do his insta-kill attack, you just... move to the side ledge (not the spot where you hide before his initial fire, simply take one or two steps to hug the wall) from where you were attacking his left foot... there's a spot where the attack will simply miss you. Now if he does anything else - that is, he moves or turns from his initial landing spot, that's when you run down to reset him (he won't heal) and repeat. It might take you a few tries to find that sweet spot (I found it by accident), but it's the most reliable way for me to kill him.

Are you sure??? That would make my life much easier if its true.

I'll try cutting if off with arrows under the right side of the bridge and then i'll move to the rat's entrance, also under the bridge, to headshot him

Flash sweat, black knight shield, black iron set recommended, flame stoneplate ring.
His fire breath only hit me for 100 damage, and only because my stamina run out from blocking.

Yeah, I know this is a necro, but I thought I'd post my kill strat that worked for him on ng+ in case anyone is googling for a solution like I just was.

Short Bow +14... 34 Str/38 Dex... Large Arrows (buy from nearby undead merchant).

Red Tearstone Ring... Take damage to get below 20% hp to activate it.

Shoot him from the corner spot near the rats. Hit him 1x in the head. Then 3x when he lands to the right. Repeat. I was doing about 250 damage per shot and easily overwhelmed the heal. He dropped like panties on prom night.

Because when you google "dark souls hellkite ng+" the first thing that pops up is this thread. Which means that this particular thread from 2014 is the worldwide authority and the first thing anyone in the world sees if they are struggling with the fight and go to google find a solution.
