Darksouls PSA: character name length

To all of you who dont know there is a glitch in the current version that causes the game to crash when you have over 16 characters in your steam username. When you put down a summonn or red sign and someone uses it their game will crash and so will yours. The simple solution is to make your name shorter or if you want to keep your name the way it is simply change it when you are planning to put down a sign then change it back after you are done playing.

I've summoned/been invaded by players with way more characters than that in their names, some even with japanese, chinese and korean characters with no problems.

It's not just the length or special characters, there has to be something else wich makes the game crash besides that.

Yes, some people no matter the name will crash other people.

If you use PVP Watchdog then you won't crash anymore.
