Lingering Dragoncrest ring question

The wiki doesn't specify or not for this, so I'd figured I'd ask
For the Lingering Dragoncrest ring, if I'm wearing it while casting a spell, and then take the ring off, will the effect of the ring still apply to the spell?
Or does taking the ring off revert the time of the spell back to normal?

As far as i know, stats dont have this "burst" and damage is calculated and applied on impact.

If it's anything like the Sun Ring of the Princess (forget the actual name) that boosts Miracle synergy, the effect from LDCR will not disappear when you remove the ring. Self buffs keep their stat at the time of cast.
