Dumb question about Dark Sun Gwyndolin

So as the title says I have a bit of a dumb question, if I wear the Darkmoon Seance Ring, then go to fight DSG and beat him will Gwynevere still be there? Lore wise I understand would be a big no, but I was wondering if maybe that there was an off chance technical wise the devs might have forgot to code Gwynevere out if you defeat DSG that way.

I looked around on the wikis and unless I'm extremely blind there doesn't seem to be any mention of this unless I guess nobody mentioned it because it would be such an obvious answer of no because of the lore behind DSG and the 'Gwynevere' you meet.

Anyway sorry about the dumb question, just wanted to know since I would rather have Anor Londo still bright, but still able to get DSG's soul for the bow.

Oh, wow thanks, I actually expected for them both to disappear, but looks like the devs did forget to code her out....or is the illusion so powerful that she's able to exist without Gwyndolin? Ah well either way that's grea to know, thanks very much.

Oh, I don't mind that, I was planning on killing her for her soul to upgrade my flask anyway, thanks for the info though.

I believe if you killed Gwyndolin and it made Gwynevere disappeared BEFORE you get the lordvessel. You would never get lordvessel therefore unable to complete the game, so that might be a reason why devs left Gwynevere alive.

Ahh right, that totally makes sense I completely forgot that Gwynevere is the one who gives the lordvessel, that's a great fail safe if players decided to fight Gwyndolin before meeting Gwynevere....though I guess they could have done something else like having DSG's fog door inaccesable or upon defeat of DSG and when you go up to where Gwynevere is you find the lordvessel on the ground or something, either way I'm glad that they chose this fail safe, I can have the Darkmoon bow, keep Anor Londo in the light, and maybe join the Princess Guard covenant. Well at least I don't feel so dumb now, thank you very much everyone for the info and answers.
