Help with Duke's Archive?

I'm in Duke's Archive and made it to the boss, but ended up getting cursed and spawned in some place I've never been to. Both the lizardmen and the slime things at the bottom are killing me in one hit due to my reduced max HP, and I don't see any way of leaving, nor will it let me warp out.

Is there any easy way to escape, or someone to help via coop? I've been trying for about 2 hours and can't find any way to make any progress.

carry any item for remove curse? if no, coop can help only if you place sign, since cursed players has no human form possible

If you mean you fought Seath on the top floor, that's a scripted loss. You are meant to die to Seath and get sent to the prison, and the bonfire there is one of the only two that prevents warping (The other being in the Painted World)

I'm in a prison, but is there any easy way out? It seems no matter which way I go, I get instantly killed due to my reduced max HP after dying to Seath. I was told to play the game blind by my friends, but I don't see a way out of the prison without getting stabbed by one of the lizardmen or sniped by the mages.

That first Seath "fight" is the biggest pile of cowpie in the game, it's a must-lose "fight" and unfortunately apparently you got cursed to boot. If you have any purging stones nows a good time to use one. If you cant fight your way past the snake dude you can always just do a suicidal dash for the key. But you should be able to beat the snake guys, they can be staggered, parried and backstabbed. Use one or all three to your advantage. For the guys at the top of the platform it might be necessary to climb the ladder, say hi, then run back down the ladder and try to engage them one at a time (assuming you dont want to go for the suicide run).

Every time I just manage to get back to the library, but between the archers and mages, it doesn't seem like there's any way to progress without getting grazed once and dying.

Would it be better to just restart the game? I don't want to lose almost 30 hours of progress but I've spent around 4 hours alone now throwing myself at this segment and I'm not seeing any possible way of surviving, even after grinding to SL 100 now.

If you have a range weapon you can clear some of them out to open up things.

You don't need to restart, just learn to be more careful. Don't try to take all the crystal hollows at once, lure them out using arrows or whatever ranged attack, and fight them one by one. Don't forget blocking, and you can parry and stab them in the back too.

Yeah restarting won't help, the area isn't difficult because your build is bad, it's difficult because it is not easy.
