Ways to level up fast in high soul levels? SL 250 here

Hey people, I was wondering if there is any effective way to level up fast at around SL 250. It costs me around 450'000 souls to level up just once.

The best method so far for me is speed running the game with all the soul increasing gear and making sure to kill every boss in the game.

I am guessing my method is the fastest way to get souls, but I'm desperate to level up fast so I can soft cap the last 2 skills I need :D

Any help will be appreciated.

when I had my SL273 char, I used the speedruns too, but a good place to farm is anor londo, just kill the 4 giants and the silver knight before the O&S fight. With 4 I mean the 2 in the room and the 2 in front of the door. You should get a fair bit of souls in a short period of time if you learn how to kill the giants fast. Obviously you gotta use the souls-enhancing gears ^^

Yeah you're not really supposed to level up fast if you go that high. Most people that do probably cheat, other than that the fastest methods would probably be farming mobs/bosses in a high NG+(x) or PVP. Why not just have more than one character that each specializes in something, rather than one massively overleveled character that tries to do everything?

'Cuase massively overleveled Characters are fun to have, and anyway before SL 300 you actually can specialize the character only in 2 damage stats since you need the levels in vit and endurance.... Usually is Dex and something else since dex is good for mages/pyromancer and dex + strenght opens up the possibility to use a ton of weapons.

Meh, even if you want to go for 99 vit and end, with 40 dex and int (or dex+str or whatever), that's still just SL 236. But whatever, as you will. It's just not my thing.

Well, you should count you get at least 50 str & dex, not 40. But then again, count the 30 faith required for Darkmoon blade/Sunlight blade, you will reach 300 easily if you level up like this.

If you want to fast lvl up, put on Giant Dad's set and go to Darkroot. I reached a 1500000 souls in one day. Giant Dad biuld is the easiest way to farm souls

I should try that out. I must be on ng+8 or something. Well, the difficulty is obviously capped already but yeah, Thanks :)

I didn't cheat to get to that level. It's the only character I have atm. I just want this character to soft cap every single stat (Except resitance, that one is crap lol). So far i've only need to cap Attunment and Sorcery. Attunment is at 43 so I'm close to finishing it.

After I soft cap everything it will most likely get too boring as you said, but I want to have a strong character just like that ^^

and yeah you are right, having a specialised character is much better. In fact I do that in DS2. In DS1 I just went beast with one character that's why I can't bring myself to create another one.

It might be a good idea to do that. I know they give some really sweet souls. I just kinda hate farming in the dark souls games lol I might try that and see how much I can make in like 5 minutes, and see if its worth it for me. Thanks :)

I made a character like this, it's nice to have a dude who can use anything. To farm souls, I rinse repeated the blob spear phalanx in painted world. I used 2x Fire Tempest with power within, the scorcery boost ring and all the soul bonus gear. You make 75k souls every 2 1/2 minutes. Very grindy though

in case nobody mentioned it yet:

find a friend, summon each other with red sign, red guy jumps of cliff. you get 50% what phantom needs to level, alternate now and then so you dont outlevel eachother. forest bonfire is a convenient spot.

I think you can even both jump of the cliff if you time it properly and both get souls, but the red guy only gets 10% so meh.
