What to do after Lord Vessel?

I got the lord vessel after defeating Ornstein and Smough, and I placed it in the area under Firelink Shrine. But what do I do from there?

Okay, but where do I go to fight these bosses? The Four Kings is kind of obvious, but I heard awful things about that boss fight. So lets say I defeat the Four Kings, where do I go from there?

You need 4 great souls so after 4 kings you would do the next. Not sure what would be recommended right now but depending on your level you can probably pick any. You could look up a walkthrough.

Lost Izalith and Catacombs. You should have seen a bright yellow fog that prevented you from advancing.

Yes if you placed the lordvessel down they're gone.

Thanks. I am currently going for the Four Kings. I met this guy in the New Londo Ruins who basically said to kill Knight Artorias and things would be easier in the Four Kings Boss fight. This true?

I gave up on the game because of Four Kings, i beat Ornstein and Smough no problem in 3 tries, same with Capra Demon. Seriously what the ♥♥♥♥?

Four Kings: Go down through New Londo Ruins (make sure you have a transient curse, if not, the ghosts drop them and a hollow right before the bridge will have one) it's a pretty straight forward path
Seath the Scaleless: From the Anor Londo Bonfire, take a left past the Sentinels where you fought the Mimic, go up the stairs through the foresty area to get to the Duke's Archives. (Highly recommended that you have some Prism Stones for later on)
Bed of Chaos: From the Daughters of Chaos Bonfire, go outside and take a right down the red hallway and continue that way.
Gravelord Nito: From Firelink Shrine, go through the Graveyard and on the far left side near the back you'll find some stairs. Continue down them to enter the Catacombs.

I'd say that for a sorcery user it's good to go to the Duke's archive as soon as possible, as many of the higher tier sorceries are available there.
It's good also to try and snatch the very large ember to upgrade your weapon to +15 (New Londo's ruins, available after obtaining the Lordvessel).
If you didnt go back to the Asylum yet, I'd strongly recommend to do so as the boss there will drop a titanite slab, wich you'll need for the last weapon upgrade. Also Snuggly can trade for some valuable stuff.
