Stick to SL 120-125, that's the community average.
this is probably the best idea though.
You can always host for pvp =P
But yea, you won't be able to summon or invade yourself.
As for the OP. Mainly PvP. At Sl120, its quite common to end up with 5-7m souls a day from just general pvp, hosting or invading, even more as I don't play that often or that long, atleast not as much as i used to.
Considering i average 10k per invasion and 50k per host.
For every 10 wins, it would mean 100k for invasion and 500k for hosting.
I did get one character to SL500, I use to play with friends and we would coop and host fightclub amongst each other. The thing is, when a group of people are leveling at the same rate, and facing each other, you get a crapton of souls. By just beating an SL600 you get 600k worth of souls, now imagine you face off against many people of the same SL.
I was getting 300-500k souls after each match against one person, imagine when you're going against 10 or 15 of them?, and we would play the whole day. Just imagine winning 10 times in a row. how much souls do you think you would end up wiht?
Considering the game design, if there was no such thing as a community "soft cap", it would be easier to level up to max SL as you would face more people of higher SL, hence, the ability to gain such ridiculous amount of souls.
