No I did not buy a repair box or powder. So I'm going to have to fight my way down to the bottom with a sorry-ass dagger and a wooden shield because my +3 weapon and armor are not going to make it much farther.
Till you get to a smithy, you're kinda living in the mess you made from not thinking about weapon care. Did you also not get the Bottemless Box and store extra stuff in there? Or did you just drop everything instead of saving for later?
If you had bought the smith and armor box, you could have used those to upgrade your equipment once and that would also repair them.
Yea, I'm pretty sure I killed that guy thinking he was a zombie. I guess I'll find out if I can make it out of BlightTown alive; getting my a$$ pwned at the moment with this wimpy dagger and shield.
Then the black smith in the undead parish is the only person (at your point in the game) you can buy the repair box from.
Oh hells no; is this what BlightTown is suppossed to look like??? On my game its so dark that I can't see anything other than what is immediately in front of me. In this video you can see things all over the place?
As the other users said, get the repair box, and get to the blacksmith.
Your best bet (from the bottom of Blighttown) is this: get to the wooden wheel, ride it up. Take the first ladder you see, and keep climbing. You'll get to a long tunnel after taking 3-4 ladders, putting you in the Valley of the Drakes. Dodge the barbarians on the way, and take the plank bridge into New Londo Ruins. Then, just take the elevator to Firelink. In New Londo, it's in the tower next to the one you just came out of. This is, assuming the gate isn't locked. If it is, Gwyn help you.
From Firelink, ride the shortcut elevator to the Parish, and Andre can fix you right up.
From the middle of Blighttown, alternately, backtrack to the Depths, which arguably isn't a very difficult area if you can avoid the rats. Take the aqueduct shortcut back to Firelink, then go to the Parish.
Keep in mind you can run past EVERYTHING, if you dodge carefully enough and take off enough of your equipment (which isn't helping you much anyway right now).
Good luck, and Praise the Sun!
There's a blacksmith in New Londo, if you get there. He's down a staircase far to the right, inside a prison cell.
Rupert of Vinheim, I think.
