Anor Londo or New Londo Ruins first?

First playthrough... which should I go to first?

Slowly make your way to Anor Londo (through undead parish and blighttown) and then after obtaining the lordvessel go to new londo.

Anor Londo. You can't get the key for New Londo without killing a certain npc before Anor Londo. By the way, if you want to become a Darkwraith, make sure you don't talk to anybody after Anor Londo and just go straight to the ruins.

Or use a homeward bone, if you're into that sort of thing. Not sure if that counted as a spoiler.

Anor Londo. There is really no purpose to going to New Londo Ruins first since it really is just a gateway to an area you can't access yet.

Go for the ruins first, the guy with the key to the seal is a putz anyway. You can get a shiny large ember there as well. Not to mention its easier to come back after you get the covetous gold serpent ring, farm a few chunks and if you're lucky a slab or two. You may lose some of the joy of being punished by Fatty and Beanpole though.
