I need a Black Knight Greatsword

So I've killed nearly every Black Knight up until Sen's Fortress (And the one in the Catacombs). Well I don't have the Black Knight Greatsword so am I screwed not to have a Greatsword with a Decent moveset?

You'll have to go all the way to the Kiln of the first Flame, where you can farm Black Kngihts to your heart's content. Or you could try to see if any kind souls would be willing to part with one.

There is only one that drops the greatsword outside of the Kiln, and that is the one right after the Taurus Demon.

For this playthrough you are until you open up the Kiln or you can find someone who can trade it. If you really want it you could always restart and make sure you have some humanity to increase your drop rate. It doesn't take long at all to get to the Black Knight with the Greatsword once you are familiar enough with the game.

Ended up with a new character.

At least I'm experienced enough to hunt Black Knights for sport, so I'll just need to farm the depths for a while after killing the Capra Demon.

Or get lucky with getting summoned, but I highly doubt that.

I got it first time... reinforced it to +5 doing 1000 hp hits with hornet ring. Last I fought, Undead Parish at the top of the tower has one of those enemies. He will not respawn but you can give it a chance. You could equip the Serpent Ring for extra drop chance/discovery, usually found in Sen's Fortress (I won't tell you where, this is your chance to feel good about discovering it)

i dont know why u want it so bad, the R2 is pretty bad for any kind of situation, it only looks cool.
did you try all the other greatswrods?

The R2 isn't that bad, decent in PvP against turtlers if you are good at aiming it unlocked but I do agree it's definetely not a weapon I'd restart my playthrough for.

It's a good weapon for the sake of a good greatsword moveset.

If you can suggest a better Greatsword moveset.

I am assuming you are looking for an Ultra Greatsword rather than just a Greatsword. The regular black knight sword, and the claymore for example ar greatswords.

The Zweihander has a decent moveset for a Greatsword, and is available to pick up as soon as you get out of the Asylum. The regular Greatsword is easy to obtain, and found on a corpse in the depths I believe. Also the Demon Great Machete s a really nice Greatsword and is a drop from the Capra Demon and mini Capra Demons in Demon Ruins. These are all Ultra greatswords.

It's the Black Knight sword (Standard)

I'll try the others, but I'll just hunt that Black Knight in the Parish and get the one I want.
