Where do you go after you ring the first bell?

You remember that bridge with the dragon on? There is a door there near the start of the bridge where you got a key for. Go in there and follow that road.

As Zuka said, it will lead to the lower undead burg. Just beware of the capra demon and don't rage too much :)

I went that way even beat capra but there isn't any clear direction of where to go, I found the forest the door is locked and a huge gate with an onion sitting outside it.

Or you can go to firelink shrine, head down to new londo, then go to drake land( the tower right next to the one you get out of), W/E it's called, and head across that plank bridge and go down all the latters, to the left is a bonfire, and to the right of the bonfire is Quellag where you ring the second bell.

Prologue -> Undead Burg -> Undead Parish -> Lower Undead Burg -> Depths -> Undead Asylum 2 (to get the ring) -> Blighttown -> First part of Darkroot Garden (that one with Hydra and Butterfly. You can swap it with Blighttown) -> Valley of Drakes after Blighttown -> (Darkroot part 2 if you don't want pvp zone) ->Sen's Fortress -> Catacombs ->Anor Londo -> New Londo Ruins -> Demon's Ruins and Lost Izalith -> Oolacile -> Tomb of the Giants -> Duke's Archives -> Crystal Cave -> Kiln. I do it that way. Correct if I forgot about something please :)

That is a rather weird way. Why would you go Catacombs before having Lordvessel?

does the Oolacile up there stand for the dlc?

Oolacile is the DLC :) I prefer doing it late in game because it might be a bit hard and Oolacile Township is huge pvp arena. I love pvp but not on low levels where you can get invaded by someone who finished ng on low level and you can do nothing. Cheers!

To get to Oolacile you need to go to the Dukes archives to get the broken pendant! :D

It's actually very confusing, as opposed to having an objective marker which completely destroy any mystery. It should be confusing, like any RPG worthy of the genre. Just talk to people all the time, heed and listen well.
