No white Soapstone?! (solved)

I have the Problem that I didn´t got the "white Soapstone" from Knight Solaire on the bridge with
the red dragon(I read that I could get the soapstone from him) instead of the white soapstone he gave me a "Black Separation Crystal". Is there may another way to get the soapstone or if not a way to cheat it?
I alredy googled a lot on this but found nothing, exept of killing solaire but i dont want to do that and i actully couldnt because he isn't on the bridge anymore furthermore I tried some savegameeditorsbut none of them had worked on this version of dark souls :(
Could anyone please help me??

Wtf... This shouldn't have happened. What a strange bug...
Your options:
- Find Solaire, kill him and loot the soapstone. He appears later in the game in Anor Londo and at the Sunlight Altar.
- Maybe the White Sign Soapstone landed in the chest next to the little pool at Firelink Shrine for whatever reason. But most likely not.
- Roll a new character and restart the game
- Use the cheat engine...

If you answer yes to both questions from Solaire, he will give you the white sign soapstone. If you don't answer yes to his questions, you have to kill him to get it. These are the only ways you can acquire it.
The black separation crystal you have in your inventory from the start.

Thanks for your answers guys I really appreciate that! But hold on this just got a lot more weird:
As I wanted to look for the chest near the pool at Firelink Shrine I met this giant snake wich told me I am the choosen undead etc. then I tried out the option to sell items to the snake and my eyes almost popped out!! in the sell-list there where 3 items shown which I can't see in my normal inventory: The white Soapstone!!!! 4 cracked red eye orbs and 1 rubbish :O Did anyone have a Idea how to fix that or what may have triggerd that? I could collect new and look at items in my Inventory just as normal so only these 3 Items seem to be bugged.Furtermore I only use some graphic mods - No mods which change/add any items so i think this can't be the reason of that bug,could it?

I just look trough my hole inventory in a save game editor and there i could see my white soap stone, but I still can't see it ingame :(

Are you sure you're looking in the right menu ingame? Those items should all be in the same list as humanity, moss and all of the other usable items.

What graphics mods are you using? Have you tried to disable the texture override option of the dsfix? Maybe you are overriding the icons for those specific items.

I alredy tried to disable all my mods(dsfix,flora overhaul,HD trextures,High-Res UI and Subtitle fonts) but the items are still not shown in my inventory I am completly(exept of my savegames) reinstalling dark souls at the moment I hope It'll work then.

okay werll because this isn't solved, he didn't give you the black crystal, you started the game with that, to get the white soapstone, talk to him twice, and say yes to everything, or kill him.

You can verfify the integrity of the game cache via the steam interface. This finds and replaces broken and missing game files, although the result is probably the same as reinstalling the game.

I honestly have no idea why the item menu is messed up, assuming that's the case. This has never happend to me before at all...

Just killed solair looking for it... saw this reply... regret is what I am filled with.
