Windows 10 compatibility?
There are a few games i like to play, Dark Souls being a prime example, that just don't work properly on Win8...or if they do i haven't found a way to make it happen. Has anyone tried Dark Souls on Win10 yet?

I need to find this out for a few games before i even think of upgrading.

I couldn't get it to work on win8 regardless of what i tried. Do you guys have DSfix applied and are the options for that working fine? Don't really need the main options as long as you alter the DSfix config file.

not using dsfix
what kind of issues in windows 8?
It works for me. No issues. I just booted the game up and that was it. Win10 RTM x64. But i didn't have any issues on Win8, so i can't say it will work for you.

it could have some (easy to solve) issues during the gfwl days, when it comes to w8, now it's fine, both on w8 and on w10 afaik

Where is the text file that's linked with the screen resolution at?

I could just change it manually and make it full screen if I knew.

Got it working with DSfix. Since the game alone doesn't have text files....

From what i remember, it wouldn't even start the game. I would try it again but i am done with it now, just didn't want to upgrade and then have it not work in the future though...as i will inevitabley play it again.

Sounds positive at least, thanks folks.

I'm using Windows 10 right now and the only problem I had was the game not being in full screen, and when I opened PC settings it made the exe crash. Installing DSfix fixed all of that since you don't have to open the settings in game to change anything afterwards.

Using 10, it seems to lag at certain points a bit more than usual but it is still playable.

I have found no problems with Windows 10 on any games including Dark Souls.
