do backsteps have iframes?
so i've started using the claymore and the backstep attack is pretty good for hitting people afer baiting them into an attack and a few times now i've been hit while backstepping and not taken damage, until now i thought the backstep didn't have any iframes. so does backstepping give you iframes? how many do you get? what kind of timing do i need to use them efectively? I NEED ANSWERS DAMMIT!

Or, you know, you just backstepped barely out of the attack's hurtbox.

Backsteps also have "infinite" poise. DWGR lets you poise through any hit and take no damage while backstepping, it's disgustingly OP :)
since when did backsteps have i-frames in dark souls 1?

seems I didn't count that as a backstep because it's ... well ... a backflip :P

I gotta check for the timings then. one of the few superior things in Ds2 are the iframes on the normal backsteps, its so much more fun.
