asylum door won't unlock.

I have the F2 west key but it won't open the door, giving me the "It's locked." message. It won't let me use the key and I'd REALLY like the iron ring for Sen's fortress.

The only door guarded by two skeleton knights. One with a spear, the other with a sword. I know it's the right door. at least I'm pretty sure... Just after where you usually jump down on the asylum demon.

Why do you want the Iron Ring? To fight the Demons? Bruh they ain't worth it. Especially since you get enough Demon Titanite without them

a statement would be sth like "i like coke light more then coke zero, because of me disliking the different taste", you see what i did there? No need to be rude about it. I asked a question and stated why I thought it was odd, the OP answered in a fair way and a respectful one too. So that begs the question why are you so upset about this?

Personally, could care less for the titanite, but it's worth having just for the speed buff on water/swamp alone.

Also, considering it's just one of those items stupidly easy to get, i can't see any single reason not to fetch it every time...

You simply roll through the swamp or hop from isle to isle along the edges;) Unless you want to farm tons of titanite or do some pvp it works.
