[SOLVED]how to whoop the 4 kings butt ?

hi, first of all its my first playtrough
next im lvl 48
Vit 18
att 8
end 22
str 27
dex 23
res 14
Int/faith 9

wealding Zweihander +10 and Eliteknight set +5 ?, with havel (with is switched to the "doggyring" ring) and ring of favor and protection

so my problem is i do next to no dmg to the king and he kinda woops my ♥♥♥
i tried havel set for protection but i can barley move with that stuff on XD
so what can i do to make this fight easier ?

PS.: "get gud" is not an option, thx

EDIT/my solution

i grabed 2 buddys
2 with havel and one with light role
the 2 havels tanked the ♥♥♥♥ out of the one king and bashed him with zweihander +10 +fire pine rasin while the light role cugged pyromancy at him and/or distrected the 2nd king
20 estus +4 helped out too ^^

upgrading your weapon to +15 should be a decent start.

The Havel set is actually the way you would want to go, it's pretty much the official cheese strategy to defeat the Four Kings without even breaking a sweat (the other strategy is pyromancy, they're incredibly weak to fire).
Get the Stone Set. It's lighter and provides almost the same kind of protection.
If you can, get that Zweihander upgraded into a Fire Zweihander or a Lightning Zweihander. Try to get a shield with good magic defense (always keep in mind that their attacks are ALL magic damage, they do no physical damage, so don't bother with finding good physical protection stuff for going against them).
Keep close to them, slash away like crazy and try your best to read their moves and roll away. If you get caught in their grab attack, quickly tap the attack and raise shield buttons alternatly to get out of that attack sooner (this works for every grab attack, by the way).

I wish I could help you by dropping my summoning sign around there, but I'm currently not at home. Perhaps someone else might be able to jolly co-operate with you.

why +5? isnt that a waste of twinkling titanite ? only thing that i would get out of that is a bit more dmg and 10% more stability... seams to be a high investment for a little reward ...

10 stability is a lot.
You can block one or more attacks in the same go doing that, and attack more after blocking.

You can block one or more attacks in the same go doing that, and attack more after blocking.

Yep, and there are few things more satisftying in this game than that ringing "boom" sound your shield makes when you block one of those big ol' purple magic attacks! lol :D

Here's what I did, and it may work for you too. If you have havels armor (I believe it's in a secret room in Anor Londo, just google it) equip it for the fight along with havels ring (which you get from killing havel down in Undead Burg/Darkroot Basin, again, google it to find him. He isn't that tough at this point), you can equip his armor for the fight. Then, 2 hand your best weapon. Lightning spear +2 works great, since they are weak to lightning. Now, just go in there, and your main goal is to kill the first king befoore the 2nd spawns. And then the second before the 3rd spawns, and so on.

Now, when you get in there, LITERALLY TANK EVERYTHING, don't bother rolling, or blocking. Your havels armor will do the work for you, if you have neough flasks, you will be fine! Your two handed weapon will do a lot of damage, and if it doesn't, go buy some fire resin from the nice lady near Firelink. I literally did this method last night, and killed these bosses who are normally the toughest in the game on my third try.

Four Kings is a really easy boss. I didn't use any of the stuff you did because I don't do strength builds. I beat the Four Kings with a lightening Uchi. Get your ass in there and swing away, watch out for the magic attack and just do work. Kill them quick.

If you intend to kill them on a strength build try using pyromancy. They are weak to fire. On NG you can still tank them. If you want to beat them in higher ng+s stick to power within and a high dps weapon otherwise be a sorcerer

I found the enchanted Zweihander does much better damage than the lightning Zweihander.
