Battle axe +10 to The Golem Axe worth it?

I love the Battle Axe +10 and have used it exclusivly until O and S (where I am stuck now). Is it worth upgrading it to the Golem axe? The Golem axe seems much heavier for only a bit more damange.

Compared the the battle axe, the golem axe seems to be a direct upgrade. not to mention you get the sweet ranged attack.

I say yes, make a golem axe.

Golem Axe has different R2 attacks, namely Iron Golem's wind knockdown and overhead slash.
You'll only need 2 Demon Titanite for it to surpass +10 Battle Axe, so I'd say make in now, and upgrade another Battle Axe to +15 later as you see fit.

The weight is my only issue. I have +3 to +4 elite armor with a +5 regular knight helmet which keeps me right below to 50% threshold for fast movement. I have to think about this.
