Darkroot Garden Bonfire

So, the Bonfire behind the Illusory Wall seems to malfunction because when i need to fill up on Estus after Invasions, it just simply won't work unless i Homeward Bone to it. Might seem like no Deal since you can buy Homeward's but it still annoys me.

Any Suggestions on how to fix that pesky Problem?

I'd rather use a Homeward then, seeing all the Companys and Promoters that are in is just no Fun. There must be another Way tho, why would they make a Bonfire which malfunctions after Invasions? Any other Bonfire works fine, it's just this one Bonfire.

and what exactly does mean "won't work"? you're standing nearby and no "press A to rest" prompt? or there's still the white fog wall?

First of your Options, i cleared the Part where the Bonfire is in, specifically killed Moonlight Butterfly.

this happens when enemy nearby, how does it work with homeward bone, you use it and then there's that prompt?

Gonna try and kill the Tree Guys in the Room with the Corpse, let's see if that works.

Uh yes, exactly like that, Homeward Bone fixes that apparently, until the next Invasions Party at least.

haven't experienced that, those 3 guys shouldn't matter, they're far

Might've still been the deal, you'll never know. Try it, get invaded in the Forest, wait till the Fog Gate disappears and the Bonfire shouldn't work anymore.

I've done that in past and I was able to rest

It happens all the time to me. I just quit and load the save, then rest.
