DARK SOULS™: Prepare To Die Edition

DARK SOULS™: Prepare To Die Edition

Visa statistik:
NAT Type: Strict
I have port forwarded all of the following ports:

53 tcp and udp
80 tcp
88 udp
443 tcp
3074 tcp and udp

Additionally I have allowed all of those ports through my firewall on windows 7. I have allowed both DATA.exe and darksoulslauncher.exe through my firewall. I have allowed both GFWL.exe and GFWLclient.exe through my firewall.

I have no idea what else to do, I am al a loss. I have a 2Wire 3800hgv-b so don't even mention UPnP because u-verse does not support it. ANY help is appreciated

If your talking about GFWL giving you a error that theres no internet connection as soon as you open it ditto. Done all you've stated put a xlive.dll in my sys32 uninstalled and reinstalled GFWL and its market app several times downloaded them from the xbox site everyone keeps posting even though the file you dl hashes the same as the redist packaged with the game and nothing all I get is that error tried countless solutions I've seen online. About to just wait it out and play more DaS2 until GFWL finally offs itself and hopefully this will be patched over to steam or... well there are other options to get it to work least for offline and be able to save

Well, no, my problem is the title, my NAT type is Strict, and it needs to not be, optimally.

hmm, do you have a static IP?

No, however my router applies port forwarding by the MAC address and comupter name rather than IP

Well if you can, I'd suggest assigning a static IP to the corresponding MAC address and using the IP for the port forwarding rules and see if loosens the NAT-

That's the only thing I can think of that might help, - I hope some other users chime in.
