How to change controls for PS2 controller?
So I use a PS2 controller which works great, but I can't seem to re-calibrate the controls. So, for example, when I press the left stick (not tilt but actually press), it opens the menu and so during a fight, I'll accidentally open the menu and instead of dodging, I cancel it.

I would like to re-calibrate keys for the controller. It gives me options for the keyboard but not the controller.

Thanks!

Are you using x360ce?

That's quite a weird control scheme you got there. Originally menu is binded on start button.

Anyway there are lots of tools such as x360ce, MotionInJoy, Xpadder, etc. to imitate x360 gamepad.

I JUST got x360ce and now it works. But now there's a new problem:

The camera slowly spins around even if i don't pretty anything.

Any solutions?

I think the latest version of x360ce won't work, but this older one does.

Perhaps calibration? I used to use my old PS2 controller with DS but never had that issue once it was set up properly.

Did you know that you can buy 3rd party controllers which are PS and xbox controllers at the same time, and you can switch on the fly? They are cheap too, half of what a dualshock or 360 controller costs. I recommend you get one, and you can forget controller emulators once and for all.

I'm using a PS2 controller too and the latest version of x360ce works great.
did you choose one of the presets that x360ce finds for you? they should be 100% ok. if your camera moves by itself, it can be the controller's fault. mine does that too as soon as I start playing, but if I make the analogs do a full rotation (dunno how to say it), it doesn't happen anymore until the next time. it's probably the analogs getting kinda stuck in a not-idle position.

That's good to know. I used an older version because at the time the latest version wasn't working with the game. Glad to see it's been fixed.

But I think x360ce has a "right thumb dead zone"? If my RS is not getting stuck at the right position, should raising this threshold fix it? I don't understand the "pass through" option above.

Awesome I think everything including graphics are fixed. I set the deadzone high, like 20%, I don't know whether this affects anything but I also twirled the RS around a bit and the camera works fine! Awesome 2560x1440 graphics!
