Solaire left Anor Londo

I'm on NG, I got bored of Ornstein and Smough kicking my ass, so I went for a travel and found Solaire at the Sunlight Altar (Undead Parish).
Now, not only is he not at the Anor Londo bonfire, he has no summon sign.
How am I meant to summon my beloved Solaire to help me now?

I'm 54 or so. It's my first game and I'm going pretty much blind, only used summons for two other bosses.

you're a few levels low of my character so I can't asist unless you level to 62. if you switch your download region to lan europe or lan us you'll get a lot more activity and should be able to find a player to help before long.

if you do manage to level to 62 give me a call and I can help

Oh I'll do that immediately, I'm using whatever is default for Australia. I doubt I'll get to 62 before this boss but I'll keep that in mind. Thanks.

His sign isn't there I just checked. I'm human.

that's verry unusual... must be a bug of some kind. and you checked the middle platform after killing the archer?

If you do things in a weird order Solaire can go back to the first place you meet him, between the Taurus demon and the Drake. It's worth checking there. Make sure to exhaust his dialogue to trigger his script to move to the next location.

Done all of that. I got Super Ornstein down to half health after about 10 shots. I'll be okay.

btw if you accidentally attacked onionbro in Anor Londo then you cant summon Solaire there.

Nope I rescued him from the big bad knights and he gave me an EXTREMELY useful ring.

For anyone still interested I ended up doing the fight solo. Only took about 2 hours to learn it.
