How rare is this drop!?

This is the second time in 1500 hours Taurus demon has dropped Demon Great hammer for me, is it like 0.1% or something? Jeez

Demon's Great Hammer is dropped by Asylum Demon, not Taurus Demon, and only if you kill him on the first encounter (where you usually have no weapons yet). Maybe you mean Demon's Greataxe, which is indeed a rare drop. However, having 10 humanity and the covetous gold serpent ring equipped helps a lot, and some of the Taurus demons in Demon Ruins respawn which means it's farmable if you really want it that bad on a character.

Demon's Greataxe is an uncommon drop (5% chance without modifiers)
At least they decently farmable in demon ruins.

The "Channeler's Trident" on the other hand...(1% *shudder*)

I wish they had a better drop rate (then again it won't be rare if it was easy to find), I remember in my ps3 days, I invaded a dance party in the burg and the host went up to me and dropped me a Trident.

The hardest game drop is the ghost blade which are droped rarely and only from the 2 female ghosts in new londo ruins.
