Alternate Sif cutscene

Ok,so i've been trying to get the alt scene for Sif (still did not do the boss),so far i found him and rescued him from the humanity ghosts and summoned him in the Manus boss fight (and of course got rekt),but when i got back to the Manus boss fight,Sifs summon sign was not there and i was also human.

My question is,do i need to finish the Manus boss with Sif or just rescue him and i will get the alternate cutscene?

You don't need to summon her at all to get the alternative cutscene. You just need to get the Cleansing Greatshield by saving her.

As for summoning: Take a good look around the arena. The sign is definitely there when you are human and have fulfilled the requirements. It's just easy to miss sometimes.

You have no idea what took me just to get the alt cutscene (i know its pointless but i just feel guilty killing her without mercy) The Sanctuary Guardian was a pain in the ass,Artorias keeps getting me rekt,the bloathead mages are always killing me and Manus is gonna be a big problem.But at least i finally get the alt cutscene.

It's a tiny change, but it makes the fight so much more emotional and shows just how loyal Sif is to Artorias. Those two must have one through quite a bi together. Artorias sacrifices his shield and his shield arm to protect Sif and Sif dedicates her/his life from then on to protecting his grave. That's real real friendship right there.

Just because I noticed you switching from "him" to "her". Sif's sex isn't confirmed. I just use female pronouns because I have seen Sif used primarily as a female name and kind of like the idea of her being a female wolf. There's absolutely nothing that should prevent you from assuming the opposite if you prefer that.
