2. normal "bossway" Taurus -> Gargoyles -> Capra , you need to do it. A +5 weapon is good enough to beat him. You get the amber to upgrade your weapons further at the depths (area after capra).
3. More armor is not better. It makes you maybe take one more hit and thats all.
4. Hydra is optional and only needed way later for the dlc.
5. Place your sign at undead burg/church where you fought gargoyles. Every time you beat them with a rnd player you get 1 soft humanity and some souls. AND you get to learn more things by doing an area over and over again.
Oh and btw. Elite knight set is op cuz the weight isn't very hight but the physical reduction and poise is pretty hight in comparison to other armor sets.
2. Who is him? Capra? I need a +5 Weapon to beat hum but I get the amber in the area I only can go after beating him? Makes no sense to me^^ so whats wrong?
The elite knight armor is much ligther then the stone armor, I will be faster with it right? So I guess I will start upgrading this rather then trying to get the stone armor?
It's fun ;-)
I have written further, so i meant to upgrade them after +5 and i meant capra with him. The drakesword is weaker than a good +5 at that point already.
I have the claimore. So I upgrade that now, thanks.
VERY bad idea. You wasted a dragon scale (which are hard to get) and 5k souls for a weapons thats only good till you get a weapon to +5.
Just calculate it a bit. The drakesword has 200 dmg, no scaling. ONLY 200 dmg overall. Something like the battle axe has 140 dmg + scaling. At 20 str it will deal already more dmg than the drakesword AND you can buff normal weapons with gold pine or magic weapon. You can't do that with the drakesword. So you will get a higher dmg output with a normal weapon than the drakesword already at capra.
Btw. You need to decide on a build now or you will have problems later on, because you could have wasted stats.
I have +5 Claymore now and +1/+2 elite knight set eqipped. What a waste upgrading my other armor parts. I was like WTF 144 or something claimore does now. So it scales with my steigth but the dragon sword does not? I need dragon scales later? Can I get the lost one back or am I not able to upgrade some elite armor or something later because I wasted it?
Thanks I think that is what I am doing to do now, trying to get some souls there and get the shield upgraded amd pf corse the ring. Wich one the hollow or the knight shield?
Behind the 144 on the right side should be another number, it shows your scaling.
Actually, you do not need any dragon scales, but if you go on a strength build, the dragon axe is nice to have. Its pretty nice, needs a ton of strenght to wield and 10 dragon scales to upgrade. Also dragon scales are needed to lvl up in an optional convenant.
