Zwei has C scaling in dex.
if you have a lot of str/dex - regular upgrade path is for you.
Crystal is better in scaling, but weapon will break soon.
but only if you're on a quality build (around 40 dex and around 40 strength)
You should upgrade strength first, then endurace, and then vitality, and then dexterity.
Weapons/shields (depending on whether or not you want to roll :P):
LH1: Havel's Greatshield/Silver knight shield +5
LH2: Raw Black Bow of Pharis +5
RH1: Large Club +15/ Demon's Great Hammer +15
RH2: Black Knight Greataxe +5
I hope if you try this build you will like it :D
I've defeated the Butterfly at Darkroot Gardens.
I was also thoroughly pissed off at those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Basilisks. I mean, why the hell should they have such an OP attack? Curse is a ♥♥♥♥♥, and I have nothing to resist it.
That about sums up how far I've gotten in my playthrough, and I have literally none of those things except the Great Hammer, which I cannot use without a -109 damage penalty from strength. I've rung the Undead Parish bell but not the second one. Also, I'm going to fight the Grey Wolf and Mushroom People, because I feel the need to look at those nifty mushroom guys. They just look funny. I have gone off on a tangent, but the point is that I am early-game and cannot access any of that stuff.
Also, fun fact, if you drop a Cracked Red Eye Orb (only 1) into that bird's nest at the Undead Asylum (not the one where you "Curl up like a ball" but the one that says "Give me warm, give me soft") you can get 2 Purging Stones. It's too bad that you can only do that trade once in a playthrough. That's really saving on Purging Stones. If you were to spend 3000 souls on a Cracked Red Eye Orb, you can save 9000 souls. It's nice. I won't be cursed again, or at the very least, I won't be cursed for more than 3 minutes.
