Who did the crow carry back?
The Crestfallen Warrior mentions someone being carried off to the Undead Asylum. Who was he walking about? Was it Oscar of Astoria?

Well nobody knows... I consider it just a hint so that you know you can do it.

Hmm, fair enough. And when I mentioned Oscar I meant his visit (if it even was a visit) to give you the key.

Nah, definitely not. he said he saw someone curled up as a ball, though I did think of that myself.

Just as how the crow carried you to the Firelink, it can also fly you back to Undead Asylum.

As for how it's really kinda tricky but you should be able to figure that out by your own, if not well just get a walkthrough or something like this is fine.

I should mention that I have played Dark Souls on and off again since it's first release on the Xbox 360 and that I know what the crow does and how to reach it. I was solely curious about the the aforemention snippet from the Crestfallen Warrior.

This is genius.
It explains everything!

I will use that from now on whenever crap makes no sense in DS.

It could have been anyone considering you're not the only "chosen undead". Every wandering hollow, pretty much every NPC and all players alike, are all a part of the "Chosen Undead". And they are all out there doing whatever, including travelling to the asylum.

But it could have very well been Oscar, considering he is probably the most recent case of someone travelling to asylum through the crow transportation service.

I think an even more interesting question would be, who is the crow and why is it there doing what it's doing?

And are we undead actually a small fairy or imp sized species, given how much larger the crow, and well, everybody else is than us....we might be smaller than we think we are....

The crow is Velka's way of corralling the undead to the north as a means of taking down the lords of their sins. She is the goddess of sin after all. Not my words, VaatiV ftw.
