It's all about what kind of moveset fits your playstyle.
Silver Knight weapons are heavy cause those dudes are like 10 feet tall.
Won't enchanted weapons scale way better with an INT heavy build though, c/t magic infused?
Otherwise, pure +15 with a spell buff (which also scales off your int, depending on the buff) will be the superior option.
However, feel free to experiment. Mugenmonkey is great for testing builds with weapons, so you can actually see how stat scaling changes weapon damage with different upgrade paths.
trash fire and go chaos, if you're doing fire dmg you want chaos.
It's also probably the best weapon you can get early on for going through the catacombs. But since Moonlight Butterfly is a very easy boss anyway, that isn't worth much.
and it kills skeltons forever even if hte necro is present! Also avoid the dragon tail sword, it is a waste of your time.
The Drake's Sword's special attack can come in handy vs a few select enemies a little bit after it's been otherwise rendered obsolete... If you are willing to pretty much waste almost all it's durability that is.
Used spear and katanas (uchi and iato) for my next run
In Ds 2 I've had runs with basterd sword/drakeblood/watcher/claymore/BKGS (essentially the entire greatsword range), spears, longsword/heide knight/blue flame (loved it for pvp there, but also good most pve)
So, I thought I would use a straight sword in my new DS run (as my son's buddy).
Currently kind of settling on the silver knight ss for pure damage output, although I've read some good things about the dark sword (but 30 humanities seems a high price...)
