Any other way to Ornstein's Set?

I beat the game, doing NG+ now, I've been trying since yesterday to kill smough first, I couldn't do it, Giant Ornstein and finding safe oppotunities to hit smough was such a painful task so I gave in, did it the sane way and I beat them without much hassle, but now I can only get smough's set again. Is there any other way?
If not, is there any generous souls out there willing to pass it down to me?

In order for someone to be able to give you a spare set is if they know both your steam download region and your character's level.

Otherwise, the only way to get Ornstein's Armor set and the Leo Ring is to kill him second.

Shame about that :S I tried as best I could, after 25+ deaths though I dont know if I could handle much more

Matchmaking in Dark Souls is based on level ranges. In order for someone to be summoned by you into your world, they must be within a specific range of your own level. The basic formula is +/- 10+10% for regular co-op. Invasions have a different formula depending on the method. Only way to get someone to give you a spare set is to have them in your world.

The steam download region is because this game does NOT have a dedicated server. It instead uses your steam download region servers to facilitate it's own peer-to-peer system. There is also a limit on how many people you can be randomly connected to at once. If you want to connect to someone specific and not spend hours hoping the semi-random matchmaking works in your favor, you'll both need to be using the same steam download region.

Steam > Settings > Downlaods > dropbox on the right to see which DL region you are currently using.
