For those who are having trouble with Seath....
Now I don't know how many of you are actually struggling against this guy, but when I went into his room just then I saw a grand field of agonising statues in painful poses.

Yes I know he curses and it's a pain in the butt. But,

Firstly, crush the crystal first.

Then just rush to his side, circle around him and start chopping. If you keep going after his tail, all of his attacks except for the tail swipe and that AoE full room blast can't hit you AT ALL. And luckily, both those 2 attacks don't build curse too.

Just take your sweet time hacking the tail away and occasionally go around doding the slow tail attacks (and pray that he doesn't blast the room often) and you're victorious. It's only a matter of time.

If you still have trouble, just go full Havel, 2 hand the biggest weapon you can use and rush him down.

Just thought I'd share my opinion.

I find it easier just smacking his crystal belly... not only you'll do more damage to him, but while there he'll only do his crystal breath attacks that are much easier to dodge than his tail attacks... they're so slow you have all the time you want to run out of the way and get back in.

Hmm that so?

For me I like the tail hacking simulator I use on Seath.

The reason is because well, firstly by circling around him, Seath will go around beating down any clams I brought into the room from me sprinting past them into the boss arena. And secondly, my method completely removes the possibility of being cursed from this fight since all you need to worry about is the oh-so-easy-to-dodge tail attacks and the occasional AoE that you kinda just pray you can tank through (and once you do Seath is toast since he doesn't spam that often, at least in my experience). As both of those attacks don't stack curse.

But your method is good too.

EDIT: The AoE shouldn't 1 shot really. I am playing a DEX toon who is barely well covered in armour since I wanted the <25% load (but I do use Havel ring) and only had 29 VIT when I faced Seath. His AoE took about half of my HP, it isn't too bad.

If that's the curse that bothers you, just pop some humanities and it'll be the last of your worries...

Just stand still until he crawls closer, once he stops and lowers his head he's about to do a breath attack, run right up to his belly, go nuts, then run out since he's gonna do the AoE next. Rinse, wash, repeat.
