Game Broken: Stuck in Painted World

my last bonfire was in painted world, and i 1hit killed priskilla, and now i can't leave. when i jump off the ledge i just die. it's a bug listed in the notes section here: http://darksouls.wikidot.com/crossbreed-priscilla

does anyone know any work around?? or am i stuck like this and need to start a new game?

at this point try using cheat engine to set priscilla alive again. I won't tell you the details, though :P

are you guys illiterate? i 1hit her, got glitched, looked it up, and then found out about this glitch. i didn't know about it beforehand. i used this thread to try and find a solution to the problem. jesus, get some reading comprehension next time you post...

To be fair, your first post gave no indication of the order of events... you just stated the facts of "this happened" and "it's a known bug". Because these two facts were presented in the same paragraph without any indication of chronology, it's implied that you knew about it when the events happened. If you said "I tried looking it up and discovered it was a known bug" then that would be different... but no such distiction was made, so it makes sense that the others would think that you knew about it ahead of time, and they posted accordingly.

I too am curious about how you fixed it, as it would be very useful to know in case others fall prey to this bug. I've personally always made sure my first hit on her is not strong enough to kill her becasue I know of this bug and do not wish to risk it, especially as I do not use cheats or the like. If there is a non-cheat way to solve this, it would be tremendously helpful to the community to know.

i didn't think that far into it. i just didn't think people would assume i knew about the error beforehand and then proceeded to put it upon myself.

luckily for me, i didn't actually glitch out. i cut off the tail and she disapeared so i thought i 1 hit killer her. then i jumped off the ledge, (because i've beaten this before and remember that's what you're supposed to do after you kill her), and died because apparently she wasn't dead and just went invisible. i figured my game glitched out so i looked it up and found that error on the wiki. however, i went back to the area of the boss and found that apparently she was still alive and she just went invisible and just killed her and continued on the game. i totally forgot about her invisibility power and when i saw she was gone i jumped off the ledge 'cause i assumed i killed her, but she was still alive.

however, the fix to the bug in the wiki involves using cheat engine to change the bonfire you spawn at so you can leave the area. i found that out by looking it up because i *thought* that i had that bug, when really i didn't.

for some poetic justice on my second battle with her i killed her with the weapon i got from her own tail.

Happened to me a few days ago. The solution is deleting your character and starting a new one.
