The drop rate is low. Once we/you finally beat the Capra Demon, there will be a better humanity farming spot (10 rats very close to a bonfire), but even there it's painful. The treasure trove for humanity is in the Chasm of the Abyss in the DLC, but that is, unfortunately, a long ways away.

Either way, I'll give you a nice little stack of 10 once you can get 1.

That was a Fire Whip. The casting time is a bit slow for most peoples tastes, but if you can time it right, oh baby does it burn >:D

i know so much waiting for me to kill dogs and let you annihlate it was not expecting one move to destroy atleast half its health

well, this is more of the beginning than the tutorial. The tutorial was basically the undead asylum. Once you got the Lordran you entered the real game. There are actually several different paths to take, and many areas you can actually skip entirely, but that is only recommended for the experienced and those in NG+ and beyond. You are on the right path though.

Best of luck to you! I always say try to solo it, as the feeling of achievemnt is unparalleled... but if you ever run up against a wall, I'm always happy to help.
