Unlock FPS
I'm having issues with DSFIX when I unlock FPS and cap it to 60... While ingame my FPS go to 200+... the cap option doesn't work for me.It should have been fine if the game speed wasn't tied to FPS.... What should I do?

if you're using the latest nvidia drivers, rollback to a previous version, the latest ones give that issue

I've got a similar problem.

I got only 15 fps, I found the DSFIX, modified the .ini file to unlock the fps as depicted in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MovRJju4Myw and it did nothing at all. The game is still at 15 fps and dissconects me from the game because of that.

And I'm 100% that my PC is good enough for the game. I had it borrowed from a friend a fev yeras back and it worked fluently on the exackt same PC.

I had the same issues until I've put the compatibility with windows 7. Doesn't hurt to try! Good luck!

It is odd too, because it only affects certain people. I have yet to figure out the coincidence that causes it, but I don't think that it is just the nvidia driver.....There seems to be other variables that have not been associated yet. I use the latest driver from nvidia.com (12-2015) and have no issues on 2 seperate installations of windows 10. I refuse the geforce experience garbage. I have no need for it or its "features".

Are your drivers directly from the Nvidia website, or are they the ones that windows forces on you when no drivers are present?
it surely isn't the nvidia drivers only, otherwise half of the forum would suffer from this, it's something that comes with them or gets modified by them and that gets in conflict with something or the dll or whatnot, but for the moment, that's the best solution, until we find out something more specific (i haven't even had a nvidia gpu for a while D: so there isn't much that i can test for now). And the issue from post #2 isn't related, it's just a necroing of a thread with a different issue

I was thinking about what has changed in my PC since the last time i played.

For starters I got my drivers directly from the Nvidia website, as allways.

About 6 moths ago I've got a new fats hard driwe becaue my PC got slow.

My graphic card got busted. So I bought another one with the same performance but a different model.

Finaly if i recall corectly back then I had Windows XP, and now i Have Windows 7

So i gues something of thins things must have made the game so slow.

Dont unlock FPS if you dont want to lower the efficiency of your invincibility frames AKA iframes.

I dont remember this 100% truthfully, but I believe your iframes will suffer.

Thing is i know have only 15 fps and the game is unplayble. It even dissconects me to the main meniu because of the low fps.

do you have any sort of vsync on either in the GPU control panel or in game?
Dilinar Tanel Feb 12, 2016 @ 12:10pm
I turned the vsync off as it was reccomendet while using the DSfix.
