how long did it take you to get past the undead burg?

first time I played the game? too long, if I remember correctly

first time? It think about an hour and half. I died at taurus 2 times. First i was sniped from behind, 2nd time i was pushed by taurus "out of the arena".

First time? Like 10 hours. Second time? 2 or so. Spent a fair bit of time farming though.

Oh, I'm thinking the whole first bell area, not just Burg.

Ahhh... The noob days against the Taurus demon.

And then it took me another few days to get to the elevator at the undead parish...

Think i cleared the Burg in a few hours the first time, as I spent a lot of time exploring every nook and cranny and trying to kill the Black Knight.

Don't forget unlocking shortcuts, there are 3 in Burg.

how do i jump attack, it never works for me

You have to press move and heavy attack at once, might take few tries until you get used to it.
Unless you meant plunging attack then normal attack when you're falling.
