DSFix not working at all... [FIXED]

...as if the DLL were simply ignored by the game.
I played the game long ago and with Dark Souls III coming I wanted to do a new walktrough in this dope game but :

When I launch the game from steam the game works perfectly but DSFix doesn't apply.
When I try to launch the game from his own shortcut, it just doesn't start, like nothing happens.

I'm playing on a laptop running on Windows 10, I tried many differents tips. Don't know what to do anymore.
The thing is I can't play without DSFix because of framerate issue in the New Londo Ruins.

If anyone have an idea...

UPDATE :

I just did a proper reinstallation and deactivated "Windows Defender", now I've only the "unlimited fps" feature "working", all the others simply do not work... I said "working" because in the menu the framerate goes largely above the 60 fps cap and everything goes crazy fast.

Already tried (none of them changes a thing) :
* Administrator run
* Beta client
* With/without steam overlay
* Unblocked in windows firewall
* No shortcuts use (to be sure...)

A guy named "kexus" found my problem : Nvidia drivers. I had to rollback to July 2015 ones. Now it works like a charm !

Hmm is dark souls unblocked in windows firewall?

I had that issue before. Ds wouldn't wanna start with dsfix. But when i unblocked the game it worked.

I have the feeling that something is blocking the game or .dll, but can't find what. :/

Well i,ve just reinstalled the other day on win 10. with the dsfix 2.4 from nexus with no problems.
I don't use shortcuts tho,not that should make any diff.

Are you sure all DSFix files are in the game DATA folder, like the DINPUT8.dll?
Tried running the game as an administrator?

Ok, so I just did a proper reinstallation, I also disabled "Windows Defender" and now "unlock framerate" seems to work but "Skip intro", "enableHudMod", "enableTextureOverride" do not work at all. Kind of... strange ?
I tried the administrator thing, doesn't change a thing!

Upgrade to the latest steam client beta, might be the mod specific issue which is still unresolved in the mainline client as far as I know.

Just tried it, didn't change anything. I also tried with or without steam overlay, don't change a thing neither. I don't understand what prevent the dll to work properly. :/

Are you getting any sort of error messages?

The problem I had when first trying to use DSFix was that I didn't extract everything into the proper directory. I had extracted everything into the Dark Souls Prepare to die folder, but that's not where the .exe file is. Have you put all the DSFix files into the /data folder inside the Dark Souls one?

Well, that was a few months ago. Just upgrading to a recent one could have helped too.

Nope, I had the latest one and it didn't work. I deleted all drivers, DSfix was working, so I retrograded to July 2015 version. :)
