PC vs 360 vs PS3 version
Are there differences between the three versions and which one would you reccomend?

The only real differences is the PC version is poorly optimized, but that can be fixed pretty easily by reading the stickied posts on the forums. I'd recommend the pc version because it's only $5 right now on steam.

Price really isn't an issue as a used copy at EB Games is going to be around $10.

PC version is just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ port of the xbox version and ps3 has the largest player base(i think).
As for which one to get i've only played the xbox and pc version, and out of those two i'd go with pc

$5 is less than $10 and you don't have to worry about the disk having been treated poorly. Either way it doens't really matter too much which version you get from what I've heard.

If the PC version is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ port why would I get it over the 360 or PS3 version?

I dunno, I have been having pretty good success with no mods so far with the PC version of the game. But take my experience with a grain of salt.

I would reccomend the PS3 version because the PS3 version is at its peek, no lag, better port and since the game was originally intended to be PS3 exclusive I would go with PS3.

Because all the problems can be fixed with pretty easily with a single mod. And honestly they aren't even needed. A controler probably will be though.

Because the problems with the PC version can be fixed easily with a few mods, and please keep in mind that i'm only talking about the versions of the game i've played which are pc and xbox versions.

Even the vanilla PC version runs better than the console versions as long as you meet the minimum specs.

I think most people are forgetting exactly how frequently the framerate dropped to 15 or lower on consoles.

PC version has the DLC included, is cheaper, runs better, and can be improved with mods. A simple task for any blacksmith decision.

If you prefer 40 FPS in Blighttown over 15 then I would go for the PC version. If your PC is too weak then stick to console.

Played hours of PvP on PS3, no cheaters at all.
Played for 15mins on PC, 2 cheaters.

Nuff said about that issue.

It lags on both PC and PS/XBOX in Blighttown and the Abyss before Manus though, not that much of a difference.
The 60fps on PC still make an overall better and more fluent gameplay.

PC allows using texture packs., CE for quick PvP-builds, etc...

pc version with DS fix have better frameraate ilumination and graphics but ps3 version have more people on multiplayer
pc is the best version, can run and look better than the console counterparts (ps3 and x360), no need to pay for multiplayer (xbox360), and the multiplayer community is still active; if your hardware is weak, 'tho, get the console version, since the pc version is a very badly optimized port
