Need help with bandit build

Hello guys. I need help with my bandit class build. I wanted to do a medium armor build so I could roll and had an average protection but right now I am wearing havels set. I upgrade my str and endurance mostly and then vitality. What should I wear? Is heavy armor better than medium armor? I don't want a full tank class so any advice would be appreciated.

I think it would be useful if you said more about your "build", since you have only said you are a Bandit. What weapons do you want to use for example?
You can always roll unless you have over 100% so what roll do you want? Fast, mid or fat roll?

Armor u like + heavy pieces.
Knight / elite knight set + giant gauntlets. 31.2-32.8 weight. I dont mind medium roll builds, but also have a fast roll ver. https://mugenmonkey.com/darksouls/483357

I have 34 str and 30ish vit/end, 110 equip load with havels ring. Using a lightning gargoyle halberd. Might change it to black knight axe. I want a medium roll with high def but I am not sure about using heavy or medium armor. Need help at that point :p
