Torch Hollows broken AF
Seriously screw that BS zero wind up flail that breaks 42 poise faster than timed in advance running 2h slam can land on them.
The only thing that comes close to pissing me off as much as torch hollows are the crystal ones in Dukes Archives. Skill is almost meaningless against this broken ♥♥♥♥, just stack some fking Havels and level vitality to tank through it.

Uhuh, screw that, particularly against more than two of them at the same time.

And after as many hours as i have spent playing you can shove that git gud up urs.

I'm never going to be some godlike speedrunner and that's not my intention, yet even i can complete most of the game without spending any souls on leveling. So it's just incredibly stupid to have these semi random lowly hollows that are too much of a bother to deal with slowly and also most of the time manage to block run/roll past attempts.

They're like a stupid TSA checkpoint - good for nothing but wasting your time.

Yeah, the poise damage on that attack is pretty excessive.

Moral of the story - running 2h slam is ineffective against torch hollows. Try other approach.

It's a low soul level ng character with barely any items thus limited options. Obviously on a normal playthrough i'd have at least 20 more soul levels and a lot safer aoe attack weapon or magic.

Squashed Capra easily enough...

Idk, though I do find the crystal hollows can be a bit too tanky however I never find myself having trouble with the torch runners.

That one move where they just hold the torch out and wiggle it a little bit. I want to punch them through the computer screen, they are easy to kill but it's just irritating to see them do it. They still manage to burn me every now and then, more annoying than anything else.

For the record the torch hollows i have a problem with are the ones at the asylum on the way to doing Stray Demon or just picking up Crest Shield and Rusted Iron Ring.

The ones in Depths have never really been much of a problem since their AI seems less aggressive and they are more scattered in a larger area without any deadly falls... Though NG+ might change that, haven't played enough in that mode to know for sure.

How DARE you criticize the great Myazaku and his flawless masterpiece, Darkuu Saruu.: Preparo to Diezo Editionzuu. Clearly you are a filthy gaijin who lacks THE TRUE SAMURAI SOUL. Go back to your Call of Duties and your Haloes.
Sorry to disturb you from your Hatsune Miku pillow hugging.
