I find the best order to go in (from easiest to hardest) is:
1. Go to New Londo Ruins and find Ingward to get the place drained out, then explore and fight the boss there.
2. Go through the Catacombs (it's in the Firelink Shrine graveyard) to reach the Tomb of Giants, then explore and fight the boss there.
3. Go through that passage in Anor Londo, and fight the boss you'll eventually meet there.
4. Go down to the Demon Ruins past where you fought Quelagg and fight the boss there (but there's like three others before said boss so have fun)
If you've having trouble in any of the areas, just try grinding around the areas and get used to the movesets of the monsters and level up.
Thanks for your help, I tried going to the New Londo Ruins but I cant fight the ghosts? Do I need another item ?
If you need some more, talk to the female undead merchant in Undead Burg for 4,000 souls, or alternatively you can leg it past the ghosts and Ingward will sell you some for a much cheaper 1,000 souls.
Also, a ghost may eventually drop a 'jagged ghost blade'- you can use that weapon to fight the ghosts without having to use a transient curse.
Reasons:
1. Seath is very easy unless you're going an INT build and want his tail.
2. 4 Kings are very easy, but second since no real vendor opens.
3. Bed of Chaos for the Sunlight Maggot to...
4. See in the darkness of Nito's realm.
Simple and efficient. I usually leave Stray Demon and DLC run for last.
Hope this helps. Have fun!
Make sure to take a little look behind the Hydra lake at Darkroot Basin AFTER beating all four lord bosses but BEFORE heading through the Lordvessel door.
There's like a whole DLC chapter behind there which half of my friends (who have beaten the game three times) don't even know about
But anyway have fun, getting the lordvessel is where the game really begins ;)
Dumbie.
Raise Strength and/or Dex. Raise Vit and End later, their fine for now.
This is incorrect, the only thing you need to access the DLC is :
Kill the Hydra and the Golden Golem that spawns afterwards
Kill the Blue Golem in the enterance to the Dukes Archives to get the pendant (Lord Vessel required)
Go to portal where Hydra / Golden Golem was in Darkroot.
Nothing else needs to die but 3 mobs in mostly any order.
Yeah, but the DLC is hard. I was just saying that it's probably a good idea to beat all of the other bosses and sufficiently level up before taking on guys like Manus or Kalameet. They'd probably get slaughtered by Sanctuary Guardian at their current level.
It's really up to you - what you want to roleplay as. It is, ultimately, a role-playing game.
(I chose to be a jack-of-all-trades for example. I ended up with 27 STR 24 DEX 20 INT and 20 FTH.)
Some people, more skilled than I, finish the game without leveling at all. It's all up to you. The game can be beat as long as you pay attention. :D
