not getting 20 estus after doing anastacias questline

so ive done her questline and killed lautrec
revived her at firelink and only get 15 estus

my friends all tell me they have 20 and have done EXACTLY the same thing as i have

Completing that is supposed to kindle it to 20? I didn't know that.

Only ways 2 get 15-20 estuses I thought was either wait near a bonfire with a lot of umm action, or kill pinhead larry and unhollow and do it manually.

If someone in the same area as you kindles a fire you get an extra estus. The only other way is to get the rite of kindling and use humanity's to kindle the fire

You have to kindle every single bonfire. When you sit down at a triple-kindled bonfire, you get 20. At a double-kindled you get 15. At a one-time-kindled you get 10. At an unkindled you get 5, with the exeption of all bonfires next to a Firekeeper, they're already kindled once and give you 10 Estus.

If you want her to kindle the bonfire, you need to offer at least one soul to lordvessel and then speak to her.

You guys have it all wrong. To get 20 estus you need to kill Pinwheel for the right of kindling and kindle at the bonfire of your choice. It has nothing to do with the firekeeper, all she can do is boost your estus flask itself 1+ up to 7+ and that's it. You don't need to sit at all the fires just the one you want kindled. People kindling fires near you will ad an estus or two but it's only temporary.

I mean in order to get 20 Estus at every bonfire you've to kindle every single one to maximum intensity... if you only kindle one, you'll get 20 Estus (obviously) - but only at this specific bonfire.
My comment was more a general statement and completely right. The requirement for kindling past level 1 (10 Estus) is the already mentioned Rite of Kindling thus I didn't mention it again.

You have to kill one of the Lord soul bosses (the 4 big bosses), and offer their soul to the lordvessel. Then talk to her again, and she'll kindle the firelink bonfire to 20 for you.

Ignore all the people giving bad advice, they most likely don't know about her kindling the bonfire to 20 for free.

These noobs who are tryna act like pro veterans never knew that after putting your lordvessel and feeding a soul to it and then initiating a convo with her after saving her soul from ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will make her go like "ohh, you gonna link the fire? Then I'll entrust you with the cursed ones' destinies. I'll do my best to help you, so please..." then boosts it to a fully kindled bonfire. Yes. Even tho I normally do it after like feeding all the lord souls to the lordvessel.
