Fire keeper's soul importance?

I accidently consumed it. I thought it should upgrade my flask that way. Now I know I was wrong. How costly was my mistake? Is it viable to restart the whole game just to correct it at this point?

It really doesn't matter. You could level Attunement to 10 and Faith to 12 to get access to the miracle Heal. That can be really useful to save Estus outside of combat. There's a talisman with fixed Magic Adjustment so you're healed by a decet amount even at such low Faith.

It's pretty important but you will probably manage without it. Upgraded estus heals for an extra 100 hp for first three levels. Personally I would restart if this is your first playthrough but it's up to you.

Yeah, I've just met her. I've returned to firelink shrine after accessing the lower undead burg to change bonfire. Then I noticed that there's more to the shrine than I thought. I was really dissapointed meeting her. It was a placebo before I found out. I really thought that the flask is a bit better now)

On the other hand, the game is 50+ hours, so I kinda think that I'll be regretful about it till the very end, if I continue. I wish it wasn't as punishing to my dumbass mistakes.

No point reseting every time you make a mistake, your first playtrough will be like that. You will feel the urge to explore and finish it again after you done with your initial run so no worries

It's not a big deal, there are plenty of fire keeper souls to go around. If all else fails you can still finish this game with basic estus.

Come on, you'll do better and faster the next time. Time is convolted in Lordran so 5 hours is nought

Ya if you're not that far in, restarting won't be so bad. You'll probably get back to where you were in a fraction of the time.

It depends witch fire keeper soul he "consumed" if it was the one you could use to revive the firelink firekeeper it could be a more difficult playthrough.

5 hours is not much considering you are probably wasting a lot of time that you wouldn't waste your second time through
