Yes or No Questions from NPC...

How game changing are these? Some of the questions I'm not sure exactly what I'm being asked, and a Yes or No answers makes even less sense. Now I just got some dialog with a talking cat in the window, but I missed most of it because I was interupted. I wasn't even sure what I answered. Now what?

In the case of the cat it was covenant related... other times NPCs will ask you if you want to learn spells, or if you can help them with something...

Choosing the "proper" answer can get you some nice stuff most of the time, but ultimately none of these yes/no prompts are needed to beat the game.

there is only 1 situation where a Yes will cost you one of your teachers life, without wanting to spoil too much

They ask you if you want to join a covenant or learn spells. Don't always press Yes. Listen and if missed smth look up for it on wiki.
