Can I Revert My Saves?

So because I let my little broter play this game via sharing on a different computer, it somehow reverted my save files to something much older. I'm now missing many hour of progress, items, and levels.

Is there anyway to revert my save files to what they were previously? I'm wondering if my internet went down when it first tried to sync.

You should have local save file in Documents\NBGI\DarkSouls. Try copying it to another pc and check if it loads newer save. (Obviously make a back-up copy of other save file before you try replacing it)

I was able to get a second computer to do a cloud sync, and the correct files weren't an option. It seems my internet screwed up when it was cloud syncing. I'm so freaking mad. And windows 10 doesn't have file history enabled by default so I can't restore the files. And I didn't enable backups with DSFix. So I'm screwed.

I am so angry right now.

The only benefit to this is that I can now save Solaire.

Oh my god. This reminds me of losing all my data on the 360 trying to transfer my save files via cloud to a friend's console. Somehow during the downloading of my profile and saves, it got deleted from the cloud and I could not recover it. Lost my first playthrough character as well as two others.

It was a good opportunity to quit, but here I am three years later still talking about it.
