This really isn't a joke, actually.
If you obtain a bow and arrows, you can chain-lock Quelaag by shooting at ANYWHERE on her human part to stun her. Chest included. Ow.
Besides if that is a thing; Simply have to be mindful of the area and where the current lava is. With her sword sweeps, I find hugging the head of the spier but in between the leg next to it and attacking while staying in that position. When legs come near herself have to run and not get cought be them but also be mindful that you wont be trapped against a wall.
EDIT: Oh, and when the spider hald stops and looks to the sides to spew lava is a good time to attack around the same area you can when she sweeeps and thrusts her weapon.
^
What kind of weapons are you rolling with, OP?
Ah, currently usiung a +2 scimitar though i don't think i have enough titanite to get it to +5.
What do i have to farm to get some more?
What? I have not had much trouble up until this boss.
That's actually pretty skillful for you to pull that off. By that point, I've usually obtained some Black Knight weapon or some other crazy drop I've kept close.
Also, have you been able to summon Mildred?
Come on, give him credit for reaching quelaag with a +2 scimitar.
He sounds like he's rolling a DEX build, in which case I am surprised he's not using the Iaito, but you know what... major props for going all the way down with just a +2 stick.
No, been hollow most of Blighttown
~~If you haven't read it yet, it's spoilers for the fight. ~~
Mildred, you have to fight her before you can summon her. She spawns near the bonfire on the ground level of Blighttown. If you haven't found it already, hug the wall that you come down from and you'll find it. Go human, fight Mildred, then you can summon her at the boss. She has INSANE defenses against Quelagg, but she can still go down. But she's a huge help, and I reccomend getting her help.
